this course is only offered in the 4th period, meaning that if i don't pass the resit, my graduation will be delayed by an entire year because i can't start my thesis, even if i pass the course next year. which will put me in huge financial troubles because my country doesn't give me student benefits if my studies get delayed (so ig i'll just hope to get a job??) nor would i get any help from the nl because with such little ECs to do i wouldn't be considered a "full-time student". also none of my student loans would get forgiven which would cost me 6k plus the 2.5k tuition to do that extra year 🫶

i feel so scared and it also feels like such a stupid rule because i'm otherwise ahead of my studies 😭

yeah idk how it's allowed tbh?? also feels crazy that i got accepted for a master's level summer programme in brain computer interfacing (with only 4 students chosen from ALL my uni's stem majors from bachelor-master-phd level) but i can't pass a 1st year bachelor signal processing (which would presumably be required for such a programme)? like smth is fishy

like idk i feel like i shouldn't fail this course

But it’s incredibly unfair that this would happen to you bc of a proffesor who clearly doesn’t want people to learn…. Manifesting good results for the resit, n maybe you could contact program admin/ whatever help offices ur school have, etc already now n see if they can help you figure out the situation if you do not pass the resit so that the ball is already rolling

other classes as in extra classes that don't count towards your degree? bc i don't think i will have ones that count towards my degree left anymore after next year 😭

yeah! i actually already did contact the general thesis advisor and he told me to contact the examination board, soooo ig that's the next step 😭 but it's so stressful. i still need to contact someone to be my thesis supervisor too, but idk i dont feel comfortable with it until this thing is sorted out but then the summer holidays start and no one is available adfjngjniot
