Well to be fair I studied social anthropology for three years and was not interested in it so it’s a valid question to me 😭

no honestly, ik I'm being unreasonably pissy and it's fairly common to study stuff you're not overly interested in for a variety of reasons, but asking someone you don't have a personal relationship with if theyre interested in what they're doing with their life is not valid, especially not if you got that information from someone else and the person you're talking to never invited the conversation i find it invasive af
