I'm thinking of getting one on my cheekbone is it a bad idea? How is it done? How big will the scar be if I decide to have it removed?

It's cute I think but idk if it will suit me

dermals are so cool!!! i want one on my chest but i keep postponing it ghfjdgh

take this with a grain of salt because its been like 10 years since i worked at a studio lmfao maybe things have changed

1. make sure the piercer is reputable and has experience doing dermals

2. try to place it so your glasses dont bump into it, and be veeeeery careful with removing/putting on your glasses while it heals

3. mentioning this since you said if you decide to have it removed v
the piercer at our studio always put a disclaimer that dermals are temporary for most people, as they often reject!

scarring depends from person to person, but yeah it will most likely leave some kind of mark as with most piercings

meh I'm not the biggest fan of them because they are always temporal and will leave a scar eventually.

Some people have them for 3-5 years, others 10 years, very rarely 15+ years.

If you decide to get them please look for a reputable piercer who has experience with dermals.
