vp help me make a hard decision please

you guys i really need Various Opinions on this. i tried to keep it short and sweet but well i'm not good at that ;_;

a month after i started my apprenticeship in procurement (office management, for 3 years!) my 1st mentor suddenly left the company due to personal reasons, which was also not too long after our team leader also left the company... which left the team in a very precarious situation in the past 1-2 months aka there's no proper structure or leadership taking place + it is especially hard considering some of my coworkers now have extra work to do due to not there being enough people in the team.

i think the amount of stress has been making my coworkers lowkey fight each other in every meeting we have MJSHBDBNEBG like i don't want to go into detail now but baby it's been Wild and i've been the poor unwilling witness of everything.

besides that, there's this one coworker in my current team whom i'll refer to by grumpy girl.. i've been very hesitant with asking help from her because she is easily irritable, though at the same time that's just kinda how her personality is and not necessarily personal against me  but nevertheless, i found it difficult to deal with at times especially being a beginner in need of Help and Guidance and whatnot.. i think in general she can't be bothered, and for a long while i assumed she especially couldn't be bothered to mentor someone else so that added to my hesitancy

so naturally because there no longer is a mentor in my team, i got a second mentor who's in a different department (retail)! which led to me being offered to switch to her department instead... i did spend one day with her and it was a significantly better environment purely because 1. i got to know more employees 2. no one is fighting each other because of stress LMFAO....

the thing is though, part of me doesn't want to work directly with mentor2 (or even go to retail because i like what i do right now lol ;_; ) because i think she can be overbearing... which, after seeing her talk to her former apprentice, seems to be her nature too. maybe i'm being too "fidgety" right now but i feel like she tends to inflate the significance of every little thing and every little detail and if any of you know me, i am very neurotic about details so i feel like it'd wear me down a lot over time  .

besides that, i had a meeting with my team today and it was clarified that if i do choose to stay with them, they will work on actually building a solid plan for me and that the team's difficulties aren't my concern and i shouldn't feel that way anyway... like regardless of the current situation, there will be a solution for me?

on one hand i have a team with not a lot of team spirit... + grumpy girl who i have to gather the courage to ask questions to (but one of my other coworkers is always super helpful and patient with me tho!) but her method is really chill like i don't feel like i'm being rushed or pressured to be perfectly orderly (which is lowkey the ideal for an apprentice lmao). this did kind of lead to me being more independent though

and on the other hand i have a team i don't quite know well but seems to at least provide a good environment? + mentor2 who i feel like is ordering me around too much (again stupid of me probably) which does push me to do better but also,,,,, i need to Breathe

guys i've been going over this dilemma in my head for weeks and i have to make my decision this week. i may as well Die. i wish i could give you the full story but it's weeks of content so .

Hmmmm...I think if you can develop that inner boundary that like even if you stay, their mess and stress is not necessarily your mess, and also ignoring grumpy girl, then you should try staying with that team.

it seems on both teams there is someone you will have to kind of weather being around, so it's just about where you see yourself long term and which team you think actually fits your goals and needs.

like if they continue arguing, will that be an issue for you later on down the line?
will you need something more challenging later, or is the pace and workload now perfectly fine?
will you be able to not internalize grumpy girl if she somehow does get grumpier and it starts feeling personal?
