except the corona thing, a lot of great stuff happened in my life which made me a better person, so i guess this year wasnt the worst ;' )

That's one word, but it's just the best way i can think of trying to explain what 2020 has been like. It was impossible to foresee what the year would bring, and if you thought you had an idea.. well, try again.

Now I'm at more than three sentences, but I'll just add that for me personally, though the year has been far from what i was expecting, it hasn't been terrible. I have somehow managed to find the positives (getting a puppy & I've also grown a stronger bond with my parents as we ended up spending a lot more time together) in these uncertain times, and the year has taught me so much more about life, both good and bad, than any other year.

i've only ate sushi like twice before this year and i honestly didn't think it's that great, but my roommate infected me with her sushi obsession...

I mean, if we're referring to the whole corona thing, once it was established that we were dealing with a pandemic, it was pretty obvious that this would be something that would continue to affect us at least until the end of the year. Of course, I'm not going to pretend like I knew exactly how it was going to play out, because obviously I didn't, but still.

Okei, in that sense, I see your point. But I'm thinking more for people individually, and that the year probably ended up looking very different from what you were expecting when looking ahead at the end of December last year.

Oh yeah, I definitely get that.

For me things have basically been as usual this year, even with online education, except not being able to go to Singapore and suddenly having a three-month break where I did nothing but play Dappervolk all the time...
