shane is AMAZING, I have watched almost every single one of his videoes in his conspiracy playlist

Like they make us learn about how men lived and how they behaved for MANYMANY years ago, and tbh. I can't see any reason for how that is important

Like maybe they just made all these stories up to make us believe something that never happened, and they want to hide how things really are. Or maybe they just tell us about things to think that the world we live in today are perfect

ugh it's hard to explain, but I feel like we do not get enough information about things, and it's all stories just to keep us busy from finding out the real truth.

I can't really talk about it in depth cus I haven't any information about this being true or not, but I just feel like it's shady.

I just believe that there are plenty more things going on, we're just being told a small part of it

We can never truly know how things "really were". Only people who actually lived during those times may give you a more or less accurate account of it, and they have been dead for a long time. History is written by those in power, by those who win. Of course what we are taught in history class and stuff like that is only one side of the story. What we call history is just one narrative out of many possible ones.

I don't believe there is one certain "truth" to be uncovered. Of course there are certain things that are facts, but most things are open to interpretation. As a poststructuralist, I don't believe that there is a material reality outside our understanding of it. Of course, things exist regardless of whether I believe in them or not, but they only get their meanings through the way we talk about them. (Not sure whether this makes sense for people who aren't familiar with different theoretical perspectives)

oh, I see, interesting. And it's true tho, stories have only been written by those who survived or those who had the powers to do it.. so we don't get to know the full story.

Throw away your phone!!! After watching a certain TV series I got paranoid about the camera there is on my computer, so I've had it covered ever since. You really need to check what you give the apps you download permission to do. With the article I linked, it probably said it would use the microphone. If you download the app, you agree to that, and then there's not really much you can do. I really wouldn't be surprised if Google (and Siri, if you use Apple) is listening to what you do all the time.

I have my camera at my pc covered too. and the siri/google thing is so true.. like i can just say "hey siri" and she pops up.. thats scary. and yea maybe she only activates to those words or whatever, but still. And also, all those apps, I never allow them to use my camera or mic. thats scary af.

Like there was this whole thing with "talking tom" (the app for kids), saying they were recording kids etc. thats messed up
