I used to be torn in the question about nuclear power, because I didn't know much about it honestly. I had the Chernobyl accident in the back of my head and the Fukushima one, so I thought it wasn't very green-friendly. But lately I've actually read a lot about it and it turns out I was wrong, nuclear power is actually good for the enviroment. It produces energy faster than wind power and sun energy, it reduces the spillage of greenhouse gas (which is pretty critcal right now) and it's also free from climate effected spillage.
But I understand that others may think differently because of Chernobyl and Fukushima. But I don't live in neither of those places and I know that the nuclear power stations were I live aren't like those. In Chernobyl etc, the reactor exploded because a safety test was run incorrectly, if it had been done the way it was suppose to this wouldn't have happend.
I would also love to visit Chernobyl, but I want to have children first because I'm worried how the radioactive stuff will affect me If I go now.
(Also sorry for bumping this, I just wanted to check if there was anyone else who had watched Chernobyl)
