Im honestly feeling super scared because its the first time ive been "away" from home and my parents. Im so emotionally and physically dependant on my mom, its not even funny. I did "move" to Geiranger this summer for a job, but that's only 2 hours away and we own a house there so they could come whenever I wanted them to come. at the same time I feel like this is going to be such a great year for me to get better at not having mom by my side at all times.
im starting a new school so everything is going to be new.
I JUST came back from Geiranger this saturday so I haven't been able to do much, but I stocked up on shampoos, laundry detergents, ice tea bags, yum yum noodles and stuff like that. im going to the mall tomorrow to get new bedsheets and boxes. its a folk high school where we're doing and making cosplays so its not normal in that aspect, but with the corona situation yes its back to normal
Oh that does sound like a big change
and super exciting too
like in a good way as well
i’m sure you’ll have a good time, and the school sounds so niche and spesific that i’m sure you’ll find like minded and amazing people to surround yourself with! Honestly it sounds super cool
will it be far away from home? I hope your mom will still have the chance to visit you some times

aah sounds like a good change, i'm glad!

i wish i was more excited about the social life but i've gotten really used to the way things are now and it feels weird to start living by myself again in a town without my old friends and bf and all that, but i think it's an important change too.. but yeah i have a couple of friends in class as well and it's very important so i'm happy we share that hahh

yes I feel super excited and at the same time so nauseous. yeah I did apply for folk high school because im so tired of school, so not having any grades and stuff like normal school has.
its in Lofthus, Hardanger and I live in Ørsta so its like 7 hours from home, but my mom actually changed her job times on Fridays so she could come whenever I need her to so that's great!!

but is a bit of a headache cuz it's rly far away n i can't find a place to live which is .. potentially problematic

So, How are you feeling?
I'm honestly kindof burned out, I just want to start working with something I enjoy, but I still have like two exams left.

Are you starting a new school? Continuing old one? Done with education?
I'm done with univsersity, but I have two exams I need to retake because I didn't have time to do them due to other school projects I needed to do.

How about back to school shopping?
I actually started to think back to elementary school when you had to buy paper casings for your school books (at least we do here in Norway, usure about the rest of the world.)
Just, buying the nice paper and getting my mom to wrap the case of the books and then I could decorate them with drawings or the paper would look nice enough.

Distance learning vs normal school?
I had 1,5 years left of university, so we started with the distance learning pretty quickly, but at the same time, the projects that we did, didn't require us to meet up at school as it was an animation class and we just used adobe programs, and like student version programs if bigger programs were needed.
Although, I really liked being at school, because then I actually could meet people, and being used to being from home it actually felt good for the first time,
Now after I've moved back home to my parents and not having seen my school mates since like last christmas, I'm actually feeling very sad and lonely again, tbh, it actually wouldn't bother me if this class had been going on for another year because it was so fun and educational.
I know one of my friends are just a small train ride away, but still.

How are you feeling? Anxious af, and not happy about it even tho I'm trying to tell myself I need to meet it with a positive attitude since it's going to make having to do it anyways easier.

Are you starting a new school? Continuing old one? Done with education? Continuing old one. New study for this year tho.

How about back to school shopping? Clothes? nah. Pencil? Got. Notebooks? Ready and locally sourced. Schoolbooks? Haven't gotten around there yet.

Distance learning vs normal school?  I think most\all is normal now.
Yea i get the struggle, i’m always impossibly nervous wreck too when anything changes..
but you’ll do fine, you’re smart and hard working
and it’ll all feel better in a few weeks when you get the wheels rollin and the routine going...

how do you feel about the normal studying after a year of distance learning (i assume)? Is it a relief?
It's a mixed feeling. Now that I have physical attendance, I have to take the bus which is 45minute each way + walking distance, so in total about an hour. Anxiety-wise, the bus is not my favorite activity or being surrounded by people. However, it does brighten my chances of obtaining friends, which is something I desperately need.

So, How are you feeling? Ok

Are you starting a new school? Continuing old one? Done with education? Same school, more shriveled in course tho (what), instead of general culinary like chef, waitress, baker, pastry chef, butcher etc, I only have chef and waitress

How about back to school shopping? I bought two cheap notebooks for norwegian and society learning shit (what again)

Distance learning vs normal school?  Normal
