Oh well. Is it doing well with your dad?
Well, it was fine when I left so I don't think it's likely he'll completely forget about it, I'll see what it looks like in about a month
Does your dad have a lot of plants? My dad isn't really into plants, or anything, but my grandad (well, both of them but one is dead) likes plants a lot. He's been tending to his garden a lot since lockdown. He used to have strawberries and cucumbers growing in these weird tube things on his roof but it's a lot to go up to the roof every day so I don't think he has those anymore.
He was very opposed to the idea of having plants before I temporarily stored the majority of my plants at his place, when I then removed mine when I moved out again he was like "it is so empty without them i need to get plants" so I bought one of those scindapsus plants for him as my mother's birthday present for him and I gave him the other one so it isn't as empty. And he got my areca palm as I high key wanted to give it up as only one of the leaves survived the first year, but now it's starting to grow new leaves @Alam

So what can you have? Ferns of something? They seem like they can handle the cold but honestly I don't know.
There's a lot of plants that can handle it but they're native to nature like this, I'll have to look into it but stuff like ferns might be plausible as they grow around here but yeah I don't know actually
I found this when I looked it up, I don't know if this is accurate but a few of those plants look pretty cool.
Idk what they consider even the coldest winters because this is pretty much counted as the arctics lmao

I don't know why but I just love hearing about adults having hobbies. Maybe because my dad doesn't have hobbies other than buying shit online and working and my mum likes art and shit but it's her job so it's not quite the same.

Yep, those should make some eventually :> Also, the structure of a bell pepper is quite close to a flower/technically a flower.
Ooh that's interesting, I know very little about plants like that

I buy them in stores yeah, I'm incredibly picky about pots as you might be able to tell as one of them isn't in a pot yet. Lmao, I've had to buy plants because I've bought pots I wanted but didn't have any plants for, like the orange pot lmaoo
