No, of course shopping doesn't always have to be bad. But it's this idea that when there's a new product or something and everyone is like "I
have to buy this" that really bothers me. Most of the stuff available on the market isn't at all necessary. Excessive consumption is a huge problem, I mean resources won't last forever, and once there aren't any left, well then we'll just have to deal with that somehow. I don't see how though.
Maybe I've lived under a rock, but I've never encountered one single person that thinks they need everything new on the market. Perhaps it's because I've never really hung with anyone who has a lot of money, who knows?
