yeah that's true. i live like in mid sweden but i could always travel.
It's insane to me when people travel from like Japan or whatever only to see it I'm like bruh it genuinely looks more amazing in photos because they edit them.
a friend of mine worked in a tourist agency once and some japanese tourists came to norway to see the northern lights but you couldn't see it at the time and the tourists asked her to TURN THEM ON
hahaha oh no, it's almost as bad as the story i read that there were some tourists showing up in summer wanting to see them like i'm sorry ma'am or sir, there are none

I really wanna travel to Norway some time, so hopefully the opportunity will be there! 🤗
it's expensive here
I'm aware, im for sure buying no alcohol at least Lmao... ah

Is Oslo more expensive travel wise (with food and hotels) than more north or south in norway?

i've grown up with northern lights so i don't find it as special as other people
Yeah I think it's the same as midnight sun or at least very little sun during summer, I'm from Trøndelag so it's in theory very close to the polar circle compared to a lot of other areas in Europe.. obviously. So although I haven't experienced it to the same intensity as people from further up north I'm very like.. it's really no big deal. It was fun that I thought it was lights from the airport tho, I was like hhnn annoying stop with that
hahah
how are you finding tromsø so far? fun fact: i lived there last year
i imagined you lived somewhere completely different to be honest with you, bergen vibes

it's a lot better than oslo, i don't really think it is very different from trondheim although people would @ me for it but yeah, the mountains are pointy and the nature is different because of less sun during autumn/winter, but other than that it's very similar to what i'm used to so it's alright

i've seen them once in southern finland. it was cool, they weren't super defined like in pictures tho, it was more like big areas of red spread across the sky
interesting, that's pretty far south

I'm pretty sure northern norway is more expensive honestly.. less hotels and they do be liking milking tourists for money
