i do not want huge sets myself if theyre recolour heavy, i dont even like putting more than one recolour in my own sets. a 45* item set thats so many recolours does seem like an odd choice for dm and its got nothing to do with the items themselves, just the sheer amount of them

like yall ever have huge sets u want to get rid of but u wanna keep like one item, maybe two, so u cant sell the whole set? fun. not a fan of huge sets. i made a 30 item set once and i wnated to die

exactly, it's a personal choice

yes, if you feel insulted by people having different opinions about the designer job than you do, you are not meant for the position
ask about every other designer, they will tell you the same thing

Just cause they don't like the opinions or don't agree with them does not mean they are not meant for the position, everyone's different with that? Some take it better then others.

honestly, if you as an official designer, someone who gets ur name stamped on everything u make and even a say in what those things get used for, will get overly hurt, or defensive, or emotionally wounded by people having a difference of opinion regarding your work and more specifically how you use it, you really are in the wrong team. not because you "need to toughen up" or anything, but because you will get backlash. you WILL. thats a part of the deal, you get some bad with the good. you are responsible for yourself, and that includes not taking a position that will put you in over your head when it comes to handling criticism.
