The issue weren't the hints per se, that was a misunderstanding due to "translation issues" (which again can be traced back to why I had an issue with the situation in the first place) and how some designers felt a bit pushed back, because they already feel self-conscious about their (few) designs and don't like being in this bright a spotlight. Hurting a fellow designer by the way I hyped their set up and made it sound too appealing for many users was never my intention. (I also still feel like some people are just salty the DM sales spiked last week, but that's personal commentary and just speculation and ultimately shouldn't have had place in my way too emotional rant about the whole matter.)
Because I can't trust myself to not be too excited about DM - because people, if you've been around here for a while, you know fridays are my favourite days on VP and I lived for this thing! - I decided for myself, that I just don't engage in this anymore and don't open up any new cases, in which I would be just too human and too emotional about a set and thus ruin the game experience for anyone involved.
Sorry for the trouble I caused. I know not all of you might feel like this, but then again, it's somewhat of an internal matter too and I wouldn't feel great "spilling the tea" on what happened behind the curtains, so we'll just keep it at that. (Which means, speculate as much as you want, but don't share these speculations unless you're willing to live with the backlash of potentially badmouthing someone or just spreading fake news.)
