idk you used to have to have a invite code, maybe they've changed it??? and thats exactly the reason why i need a invite code for me to start using ao3, i hate not having the ones ive read on lists 
ok so apparently they've started sending out invite codes themselves, so thats good. ill jus add myself on the waiting list

yesss I feel that. my memory's so bad I'm gettin in to the habit of hitting subscribe on everything I read even if it's been written years ago n completed, just so if I come across it again when I go on a hunt for new stuff I know I've already read it

yeah i used to read a lot of fan fictions back in 2011 and i know for a fact that you had to get invited by members back then, but i checked it now and they've started sending them out themselves. love that
