when Songbird became Teddy, everyone was confused (on the DE at least, needless to say, I was too)
then on the by I saw that River now uses Trainor and then yesterday I saw Mik became ... I don't even remember what, so I'll probably not recognise that name for the next 2 weeks anywhere
and now Lily as well?
(btw, it's 4, I just am worse at numbers than a preschooler)
and I'm crying over here because for designers especially I associate the designs with the name and now I have to retrain my brain

it took me over a year to know the names of all my classmates (which is why uni sucks, because we have new "classes" every half year and I usually only remember 4 people's names and now many think I'm a stuck up bitch - which I can be, but that's not the reason I struggle with their names)

but yeah, some kind of a heads up would be nice?
though to be fair, they're just regular users as well, so changing your name should be allowed in theory
but it still is weird if you have your usual go to person for certain things and then all of a sudden you can't find them anymore because they changed their name
(wasn't there once a rule though that you can't change your name, when you're in a team to prevent this kind of confusion?)

We are allowed, Jess made a certain rule regarding that. But this thread isn't about that x)
