Cos it's so hard to not be better than Sabres... I wonder how does Sabres still have decent amount of fans
I actually read about that or something, thing is that Buffalo is very close to the Canadian border. I mean, it's very close to the Canadian border. The majority of the fans are Canadians rather than Americans. Toronto is the closest city with a hockey team in Canada, and the prices there is allegedly insane. It's much cheaper for Canadians to cross the border to watch Sabres play than to watch Leafs. That's also why Sabres is the only team that will regardless of what teams play, play both the Canadian and American national anthem before each match

Omg I thought u were like at least 170cm tbh I dont know why but I just imagined u to be Tallish. A guy that's around ur height is indeed a mission not impossible.

He's so cute as well with his baby face and red cheeks omg mut yes very talented player. And also we are better than Sabres... and Oilers...
Yeah I don't think I have particularly short energy but I am unfortunately very short.

Haha yes
I somehow feel very sad for Sabres, I think they deserve a lot more than what they have achieved. I mean?? Their roster isn't bad. They're just very young and don't have many players with a lot of experience. But like Ullmark .. when he is good he's fucking amazing to watch
Id offer some extra cm but u know like there's really nothing to give oops

Yeah, i think its the mentality thats affecting their play like losing or not succeeding for years despite how much u try is very trying on ur mentality or like ur joy to the game itself
It's okay, I'll just hope that my vibe is more captivating than my height lmao

I hope Eichel gives them one more chance, but I understand him if he requests a trade. It must be frustrating. But it was frustrating for MacKinnon and Landeskog in Avalanche for quite a while as well, they just.. need to believe in the future.

oof that must be such an emotional mess, do you have any favourite players?
and like I've tried to like german hockey but I just can't get invested in it
plus I went to a couple games and I just really disliked the energy from the fans and it's so sad because it ruined the whole experience

and I just finished reading the rest of the thread and I toooootally agree with what has been said about toronto but they remind me of the good old days so i gotta stay true to them

German hockey is probably a few notches above Norwegian hockey tho, I mean.. there are more players from Germany in NHL than Norwegians in NHL.
I've never been at a game because .. watching hockey in Norway?? paying for it?? unlikely.

Yeah.. Also Toronto has really horrible whiny fans

I'm sure they have actual fans as well. I mean.. they're one of the teams I'm willing to watch if there is no Avs games on. I always have some kind of lunatic faith they will eventually manage to turn things around.

I dont know you well enough to say, I just know that ur like the go to hockey guy if I had to talk about hockey

I hope so too, cos that's what Sabres need tbh, the hope of getting out of the cycle they are in. Yeah like I remember Avs being average at most and then suddenly they are considered to be one of the top teams in NHL like when did that happen

I'm probably good, it's probably fine.

It's a lot of work turning bad things into good things. Avs went from almost having two decent lines to basically having a problem deciding who plays with who because most of the players are top-notch. They even managed to make players people were like nahh at good again, and make people notice how incredibly good Donskoi actually is

I hope so at least. I mean it would be pretty epic if they managed to turn around and actually start winning. I just dont watch their games cos its too depressing tbh

yeah I mean I do enjoy watching the games but maybe it's that I don't really know anyone who watches german hockey and being able to talk about it is an important part of it
but I do have a lot of canadian friends who were the ones who got me into hockey in the first place so I can actually like share my opinions and stuff without other people looking at me like I have three noses

and like german fans are so annoyingly aggressive? I don't know how most nhl fans are irl but there was so much shit talking about the other teams and so much negativity
but maybe that's just what you get when you watch any sport live and I just haven't been to enough games to get used it

Yeah.. Sometimes they play good, I'm more likely to watch the game if I see that they are leading lol

I just spam everyone I know with useless hockey information. My dad is luckily almost into hockey but not at the same level as me, sadly.
Me spamming vp with hockey things pretending like I don't look like I'm crazy lmao : )

Oof, I don't like that kind of thing. But maybe the culture here in Europe is different, just look at the football fans.. yikes

I really like their top line with Mac, Landeskog and Rantanen, thats a very hot line. AND Im so happy about Donskoi playing so much better with the Avs, I think he's been playing there like his ass was on fire so definitely something good going on w the Avs

Well obviously that's the golden line, but Burakovsky, Kadri and Donskoi is pretty decent as well
