my mother took me to an open night where i got to try all the instruments and i didnt get a single 'normal' sound in any of the instruments other than the clarinet so the adults and my mother decided it was the instrument for me + mom liked that it was such a small instrument lol
I played it as aspirant and junior and when i got into hovedkorpset and i didn't like the practise with the others i changed instrument, finally, after 2,5 years of complaining to my mother.
in the end i stayed for 11 years in total tho, but it was much more fun when i played something i liked, percussion. but i do still find clarinet kinda nice to know how to use if i find some melodic songs i wanna try out

i wonder if your class had it but i feel it's common having a group of people in the class that's like "i forgot to bring clothes" and "i feel sick i can't participate today" but i was definitely one of those kids

haha the thing about most of my classes is that everyone played soccer for the same team and we also played soccer during recess. if you didn't do that, you were an outsider. i was an outsider inside that gang but that's a different story. so like if you didn't participate - they were rly in my class - i would just be like " u r skipping out on the best class of the week are u kidding me?' and at vgs, literally everyone did sports too so everyone was excited for gym.

i only cared about the limited amount of friends i had and some of the friendships were built on me bullying them and then them crying and i going like no that's not right and then being friends with them so yeah that's how it is

hmmm, PE isn't really the favourite subject of the average katta-elev

b) it's my perspective of it that always made it sound good and i felt included

i only got sound into the flute but i got the clarinet anyway so it was like thanks mate it's the ugliest instrument i'd rather die and i was stuck practicing with two people that probably had some developmental disorders and it pissed me off because they spent the lectures fighting and fucking around while i sat there like i have a headache aaaaaaaaaa but then the teacher changed the entire schedule of his so i was taught alone and still i was like this sucks goodbye
