no it's not lmfao ? it means they're taking extra time to make sure all legitimate ballots (absentee & mail in, military, abroad) are being counted and not calling an election when there are still outstanding ballots.

not really, it's a huge country with a lot of people. it's very expected that it takes longer time than smaller countries.

demanding instant gratification on november 3rd because you watch american politics as a soap opera & don't seem to actually understand how it works at all is stupid. waiting a week to make sure we count every american's legitimate vote is the least stupid thing i could possibly think of.

what i cannot fathom is how trump seemingly gets away with saying stuff like the election is a fraud, claiming he is winning and also saying that he does not think more votes should be counted. i am not shocked, but i am certainly repulsed. self-proclaimed best democracy in the world with a sitting president saying things you would only expect from shady european dictators.
