For example in my country it's traditionally put up on the 24th and we keep it till the 7th of January... 
Other decorations appear sooner.~

@TheWayfaringStranger  It's the same as if someone makes an outfit here, it's based on creativity, color sheme and the thing as a whole. Just because it doesn't win doesn't mean it isn't amazing. ^^
