It aligns a lot with having like a lot of national pride blossoming in the 19th century and wanting to devote and all that so yeah, it just be like that sometimes. I can't think of any country that celebrates like Norway does

not like you guys do no, we have like bonfires on St. Hans which allegedly is the same day or whatever but it's not a huge deal
