The series is sooo good, I would 1000% recommend. The story follows Laia, a scholar girl, whose family get murdered and arrested and she ends up with the resistance to help get her brother back from jail, so she infiltrates the martial academy as a slave to try and get information, it's soo well written and it really keeps you engaged. The books flip between different perspectives.
Exactly! It was really awkward first since they tried to talk to meπ

I read books with terrible universes, like dystopia and action, and i would like to live so i really dont know, maybe the world of caraval or night circus

i am reading multiple books at the same time, but the one that im mostly reading is a torch against the night by Sabaa Tahir and its the second book in the serie. I absolutely LOVE this serie and the books are sooo well written, I'm about half way with this book but i have already bought the entire series

I despise bad writing, but I will still read it if the story is interesting. starting series that never got finished makes me depressed so i pick that one
