Fashion Trends from the 90's
Hey guys, I'm starting a weekly thread (on Thursdays) that will be packed full of nostalgic things. Each week I'll be covering a different topic, and from different era's so there will be a little bit for everyone!

Now, let's dive into the past.

Have you guys ever looked at fashion trends that were popular in the 90's and wonder how that was ever a thing? Recently, trends are starting to pop back up, and you can find them in big retail stores.
Windbreakers
Neon colors were so very in during the 90's, they could brighten up any day. For those who don't know what a windbreaker is, it's a wind-resistant jacket with tight cuffs and waistband. These provide for a super sporty, yet casual look.
Mom Jeans
.
We've all heard the saying 'everyone needs a good pair of mom jeans'. Mom jeans are a high-waisted straight legged jean, traditionally in a light wash. Mom jeans were meant for total comfort. Although, this trend was on a high rise in the 00's, they originated from the 90's.
Chokers
Chokers were super popular as they made any outfit look super edgy. Traditionally, chokers were made of a plastic and came in a variety of colors. It was also 'cool' to layer up a bunch of them together. Chokers are still super popular, you can head into any store and find them.
Fanny Packs
These bright fanny packs used to tie around your waist and you could keep all of your essentials in it; maybe a lip gloss or two. You were super cool if you had a vibrant one, that would make everyone jealous. In recent years these have been making a comeback, they're super handy when you go to festivals since you can carry everything you may need.
Overalls
Known as the denim onesie, the front pocket was useful to keep your snacks and tiny trinkets. Another variation of this was wearing one of the straps down for a more 'relaxed' look.
Do you remember these? What are your fav looks from the 90's?
