This thread will serve as the Pixel Post Office; the place where you can sign up and,
later this month, deliver your mail. Every care package will be posted here digitally,
so no real addresses or physical mail necessary!

How does it work?
From today, August 3, until August 9, you can sign up in this thread
by filling in the form below. Your answers will help your match create a
care package that is personalised especially for you.

On August 10 everyone will be matched with another user.
You will receive a private message from me (Solar) telling you who your match is!
You will then have until August 23 to create and gather everything
for your digital snail mail care package.

From August 24 until August 31, it will be time to deliver your mail in this
(the Pixel Post Office) thread! Tag your match to make sure
they see your package.

Everyone's deliveries will be visible, so we can all admire the packages
and the work that went into them!

Care package requirements
The theme of this Pixel Post Office activity is summer! Your care package must include:

- One summer outfit suggestion (upload the image through an alternative
image-hosting site and do not send the outfit
directly to your match before delivery week!)
- One main gift
- One digital postcard
- Three small snail mail items
- One summer related question

Optionally, you may include a maximum of one small bonus surprise.
This is completely optional and should not be too elaborate,
to prevent packages from becoming uneven.

Pixel Post Office rules
- All mail must be digital and posted in this thread, between August 24 and August 31
- Do not include credits, (wishlist) items or other valuables in your care package
- Make sure that your care package is personalised and follows the care package requirements
- When you receive your package, do not forget to answer the summer question
included in your care package!
- Let Solar know as soon as possible if you can no longer participate in the activity

Main gift inspiration
- A summer playlist with at least 5 songs based on the answers of your match
- An aesthetic summer moodboard based on the sign-up form answers of your match
- A personalised guide for your match's perfect summer day, including things
like an activity, recipe, outfit and soundtrack
- A digital friendship bracelet made out of stamps or digital charms or pixels
A creative work, such as:
- A poem
- A drawing
- A short story
- A fake magazine page
- A forum banner
- A funny fake advertisement
- A profile lay-out

Summer postcard inspirationThis should be a digital summer postcard from a holiday you’ve gone to/are going to this summer, a place you'd like to visit someday, a fictional place or your hometown.

Every postcard must include the following three elements:
1. A visual from your chosen destination
(can be a single image, a collage, a manip, a drawing or something alike)
2. A short personal message
3. A little story about what you’re doing there

Your postcard can be designed digitally or traditionally and then uploaded as a picture.
For example: Greetings from the enchanted strawberry fields!
Pixies have stolen my suncream, but I found you this flower crown.

Small snail mail ideas
- A song recommendation
- A film, series, book or game recommendation
- A recipe for a summer dish or drink
- A small compliment
- A photograph or artwork (not made by you) your match might like
- A summer activity or side quest
- A quote
- A meme
- A virtual souvenir
- A tiny fortune or horoscope for the rest of summer
- A recommendation based specifically on your match's sign-up answers

Have fun creating your package!! A little reminder: your package does not need to look super polished or be extremely elaborate. What matters most is that the package feels thoughtful, was chosen or created especially for your match and that you're having fun whilst creating it!
