FT: Films and shows on Netflix

The weather might be getting nicer and we're about to enter may, but... Social distancing and isolation. All that crap.

Thus, I thought we could give each other advice on films and shows! Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Youtube - just make sure to include where it can be found.

I've a pair of recommendations myself, btw.

Mad Men - yes, it's old and everyone's probably seen it. But if you haven't, it's on both Netflix and HBO.

The Last Dance - about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. I'm not a sports fan, but I like documentaries and this one is a whole series. Quite interesting anyway. Netflix.

Cobra Kai takes on where Karate Kid left. But even later. Like, in this day and age. And it's real bad but in a good way. Youtube Premium. I think there are two seasons.

Weird City - just watch it. Can't describe it. It's weird. Youtube Premium.

I'm just gonna copy paste from wikipedia because I'm too lazy;

Disenchantment: "Set in the medieval fantasy kingdom of Dreamland, the series follows the story of Bean, a rebellious and alcoholic princess, her naive elf companion Elfo, and her destructive "personal demon"

Lucifer: "The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. "

The End of the F***ing World: "The programme follows James (Alex Lawther), a 17-year-old who believes himself to be a psychopath, and Alyssa (Jessica Barden), an angry classmate who sees in James a chance to escape from her tumultuous home life."

The Society: ” The Society follows the story of a group of teenagers who must learn to run their own community after the rest of the population of their town (West Ham, Connecticut) disappears.”

Stranger Things: "Set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, the first season focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the town, including the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities. "

MAD MEN! One of the best shows I've ever seen. It takes place in the 60s and I love it so much.

It’s basically money heist. It’s so much going on and I don’t wanna spoil anything.  Let’s just say that all their heists are very good planned and in memorial for other people
I would recommend you watching a few episodes, just to get your own opinion though, I know that many people don’t like to watch shows and movies with other languages than English/ their native language. For me that has never been an issue tho

yep. the 60s vibe, the kinda odd vibe, seeing how misogynistic men used to be and how the women were so strong, and like seeing the big things that happened, like jfk assasination, moonlanding and all. everything.
