uhm... dexter works for the cops, but he lives like a double life as a serial killer? but he only kills bad people/murderers 

i really recommend it, first season is a bit slow, but it's a great show, i've seen it twice and have the whole collection on dvd, so right now i'm trying to get my bf to watch it with me

Actually there is this movie with young Leonardo DiCaprio where he is a mathematical genius, but of cause can't remember the name.
