I am super excited about the series! I read the books last year, and I love Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse (the world of Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows).

In honor of the release, I've decided to put on my best Sun Summoner look! If you'd like to style yourself as one of the characters, feel free to post your look here in this forum.

Personally, I think I'll like the tv adaption more than the books, because I loved the worldbuilding and plot, but couldn't fall in love with the characters. So perhaps seeing it more visually with (hopefully) talented actors will add that little bit I never got from the books!

I read some reviews on it today and I'm sorta scared there's going to be too many characters in the season to connect with them. While that probably will get better over more seasons, I hope that's not how I experience it

That's def true about the characters. Sometimes film just does them more justice.
Hopefully the film adaptation won't disappoint you then. ^^

but ye it's probably going to be epic anyways
and i presume i will like it even more with more seasons just because there's so much that probably is not there yet that i'm just awaiting after having read the books
