What you like the most about the fandom: The versatility of the game! here are so many different things to do, so I never get bored of playing it. Also I LOVE the music, it's so great! It's hard to imagine that it was made by just one guy
What you like the least about the fandom: The Skull Cavern and Volcano Dungeon! Even with the galaxy sword I just straight up die and I'm just not smart or motivated enough to get the right strategy down with dishes and staircases and such...
A meme/inside joke in the fandom: I would probably say Grandpa's bed from the intro of the game. The bed definitely looks much lower quality than the rest of the game, which has caused people to make multiple mods about it to mock the sad, uncomfortable bed
Drama/debate/controversy in the fandom: Definitely Clint becoming a bachelor soon! For the people who do not know, Clint is a non-dateable NPC who has a crush on Emily, another NPC who is dateable. However, Clint's crush on Emily kind of borders on obsession and it makes him look a bit creepy, which gives a lot of players (including me a little) the ick. During the livestream for the 10th anniversary of the game, the creator (ConcernedApe) revealed that in a future update Clint and a female NPC, Sandy, would be becoming dateable. Because of Clint's creepy behavior, a lot of people were not happy that Clint was chosen over other non-dateable male NPCs, like the Wizard or Willy

AGAIN JUSTICE FOR MY HUSBAND M. RASMODIUS THE WIZARD!!!! in expanded they gave him the name magnus which is funny to me because that would be the third character named magnus that i would be obsessed with. 2 of them are wizards btw

-What you like the most about the fandom: the art that people make!! ive bought some 707 prints at cons and they are all sooo goooddd and the faninteractions are always so fun
-What you like the least about the fandom: rika, i hate that bitch, people keep justifying her behavior even though she led a very destructive and toxic cult oh and V her bumm ass fiance
 -A meme/inside joke in the fandom: i think its jumin with his bad ending where you as the player get locked in a cage and have to pretend to be his cat, its not really a meme but itsbeen trolled so many times
 -Drama/debate/controversy in the fandom: i have sadly seen an uprise of very toxic yumeshippers who are all non shareable (i didnt know what that meant until i got blocked by one) like idc if you wanna date a cartoon character and make self insert art but do got harrassing other people for liking that character, a mutual of mine and an artist that i admire are both 707 yume shippers but they dont give a fuck about other shippers so i respect them
