-For the past three weeks, we’ve tracked how many popdollar or credit items have been sold to other players or in marketplaza. With this we try to estimate the value of items on VP, one of the most frequently asked questions. If we track the average amount of money people pay for items, we’ll be able to get an idea of the items worth. From now on we place this price with the rest of the information in the pop-ups. This price is the average sales price from the past 90 days (but only if the item is sold three times or more). It’s an indication, the real worth can be more, because it has happened before that the value of an item has gone up out of the blue.
-The top 50 of most valuable wardrobes is added to the clothes statistic page.
-The total worth of your wardrobe in popdollars and credits (based on the value of the items, see the first point on this list) can be seen on the bottom of the page. Remember: this number isn’t complete yet, since we’ve just started keeping track of the value, so you need to be a little patient for this update!
-A change in the password system. People who play Virtualpopstar on Facebook can now change their password (home > player settings) and will be able to log in on the site without Facebook.
-We know it’s a lot of fun to change your name, but it’s very confusing when you have a function on Virtualpopstar. Because of this, people who have badges are no longer able to change their name (except for people with the promotion team badge). If you really want to, you can ask an Admin and tell them why you want to change it (it has to be a very good reason, otherwise it won’t be allowed). Besides this change, we’ve first decided to delete the whole function to change your name, but after some discussion we decided up the price for normal players from 100 Credits to 500. Yes, this we know this is expensive, and we hope less people will change their name because of it.
-You will see checkmarks and a green marking at the overview of a clothing set that indicate which item of that set you already have and which ones you don’t have.
-The ‘naked avatar’ bug at the Fashion Contest has been fixed.
-Bug fixed where some avatars weren’t visible for some players.
-It’s no longer possible to save a naked avatar. You have to wear at least one top + bottom part ór wear at least one dress.
-Voucher management lite for designers has been added. Designers can now make the vouchers and the only thing we have to do is accept it and make them active.
-The team items (who are given to the teams once a month as a reward) will now automatically be given. This way, it can’t be forgotten and the teams will get their item on time.
-A wish list and a ‘look at wish list’ have been added to the shortcuts on a players profile. You can add an item through the pop-up you see when going over it and look and manage your own wish list on the page ‘clothes’. When you look at someone else’s wish list, you’ll see checkmarks and a green marking at the clothes you poses. If you want to hide your wich list for other players go to your profile settings.
-An extra filter has been added to the wardrobe with the option ‘only show… > what I’m wearing’. It’s now way easier to uncheck the items you’re currently wearing.
