what I do is get a few random clicks in first, if mostly all of the map isn't like freed up or whatever yet I just re-start in order to get good times, n if I get over 15 seconds in before I have enough freed up I just restart as well, not worth the time. Deffo also some luck involved w getting those sub 15 second scores as well, sometimes the boards are just way easier to solve than usually, and yeah as^ mentioned not using the flags at all

but yeah its all just practice n remembering the patterns n knowing exactly what to do with what which obvi comes w time, I think my first game took me like 3 minutes n I just got a new PB of 10 seconds here the other day woop

sadly it's kinda a crucial part when it comes to speed, so u'll have to memorize how the bombs r typically located which is what the numbers help with. i usually start with solving 1's bc they're the easiest to isolate

so here u look at the 1 inside the blue square. it tells u there can be only one bomb within the black square. the 1 above the blue square tells u there's exactly one spot where the bomb can be. i've marked bombs with red x's, but these little clusters r what u r looking for when trying to get the easiest layout aka restarting the game over and over
