What does "Show?" with the checkbox mean?
I know there's probably information about everything somewhere but I don't know where and I don't feel like scrolling through the forum to find it :') it's just not that user-friendly.

Why do I have to put in the number of items if I can add more items later anyways?

What order does the clothes actually layer as in the preview? (I asked someone and now I remember/know but it would be nice if this information was on the uploading page)

And for the preview in the actual uploader it would be super helpful to have some way of changing the order of the items in that. Bc I uploaded the skin first it layered on top of everything? But that means I can't see if I'm positioning it right according to my vision. I also didn't find any way to change the item or delete just one item? And I didn't fully know what each icon beside it was for. I can't check now bc I can't upload any more today XD but it was something I was hovering over desperately wishing it would tell me wtf the icon meant.

Other than that it's actually better than gsm's fucking wanky uploading tool. With that horrible spreadsheet layout that just breaks your screen if you're uploading a lot of items.
Granted I haven't tried uploading like 20 items here tho. So I can't be sure. But I think it's better XD

I don't think it's a top priority to get changed though, which is probably why it hasn't been.

You can always message DT and mention how you wish your designs to be used. We will take it into consideration when deciding and distributing - it may also mean that you design may not be used as fast (it depends on how many designs we have in store and can vary a lot)
Might be useful with a comment section, especially for nonDs. Could just be an extra textfield that shows when you save your design.

I think I need a screenshot with the show? Mostly bc I am on phone and at work so it's a bit iffy to open the uploader...

No clue, I always find it kinda weird too. Especially bc I think a lot of the issues we have with the uploader is due to adding/removing items + if you set too many items beforehand etc etc. It's all just very weird and wonky.

It's a guessing game with the preview, but yeah could be nice. Could really just be a popup when you hover.

You definitely can delete just one item, you just click the button beside the item - that removes the image for that item, and then you can either upload a new image or completely delete the item from existence.
It's a bit tedious and a lot a lot of unnecessary clicks..

It's improved a lot for sure! And hopefully it'll only get better ^^

he's our dev so he knows what can and can't be done with vp's code + what will come with the redesign

so all feedback etc i imagine is important to report to him

Yeah, wardrobe and uploader are linked like that, so when I make new clothing ordering system -> uploader has to use it too (+ set image generator and some other clothing systems)

I actually think I can reuse that (not made yet) new wardrobe system in the uploader, so you can choose what stuff will be visible on preview and in what order just like the usual wardrobe's look

I think I remember someone said that uploader's preview wasn't accurate (by 1 pixel?), that's gonna help with it too

I believe the goal is to decide the layer order yourself in the future, with the rework. I personally don’t find this one to be a big deal, cause once you understand how it works it’s easy to get it how you want it. Granted you might loose out on a background or a second accessory showing up, but ohwell.

I believe the goal is to decide the layer order yourself in the future, with the rework. I personally don’t find this one to be a big deal, cause once you understand how it works it’s easy to get it how you want it. And oh I see! I was just wondering bc the ? made me think it would give me some information or something but nothing happens when you hover XD

I remember when I was a designer I was also used to the system and it didn't bother me too much. You even kinda planned how you would upload while you made the design. But I don't remember now so it was just annoying as a "newbie" again hahaha. But I feel like it's important to have good previews not only for players but for the designers bc coming from other sites that has better previews you kinda miss seeing your design fully realized?
