Due to multiple complaints about the 'justice system' here, the mods have taken the time to update the rules and will now be more consistent in regards to enforcing them. You can find the rules by clicking on the social tab (which is next to the microphone and looks like three dots), looking on the right hand side of the page, and by clicking on the box that says: Rules. It is your responsibility to read the rules so that you are aware of what you should or should not do here. Many of the updated rules now have examples so that there should really be no confusion about how to follow them. Since the rules should be more clear for everyone to understand now, we also will be a little bit stricter about giving warnings and time outs for those who neglect to follow the rules. Enforcement of the rules is still based off of moderator discretion, but we will try our best to be more unified, consistent and fair when trying to enforce the rules.
If you notice someone breaking the rules, you can help us out by using the report function. (Please make sure that when you are attempting to quote someone's post that you are not accidentally reporting their post instead). Also, be mindful that we cannot always answer the reports immediately. All of us are working and/or in college, so we are quite busy when trying to juggle our lives and responsibilities both on and off of VP.Â
Still, if you have any questions, concerns, suggestions or constructive criticism, feel free to message someone from the moderator team or post them here. We would love to have your feedback and ideas on how we can improve as long as you realize that you have to be respectful when giving them to us.
