but the mod team definitely needs some new meat. they keep giving time outs to people who DO NOT deserve it, and if they do and they ask why, they just ignore them or try to change the subjects and then a question is left unanswered
yesterday, a person made a thread about their T/O and how they were confused and wanted an answer

and hypoxic deleted their thread and gave their side account a t/o AGAIN
She also told that she messaged that person about it and there wasn't a need to make a thread about it.

They also don't give timeouts to people who DO deserve them.

Aside from that though, I find that they maybe need to organise themselves more so that there's always at least on mod online that is actively looking through the threads & reports. Like I get having work to do but even just looking through every now and then would make things quicker. Especially after what happened yesterday

Like I said on an other topic. First I'm going to look what I can do with the mods we already have, if they're as bad as you say I'll kick them out and get new ones.

yes it took a long time before mugi was put into a more long term t/o for posting real life porn pictures. im not saying theyre harmful, but they do go against the rules and it shouldnt be punished with three days.

So it was mentioned in a different thread by Hypoxic(? i think) that mods don't know each other's schedules because theres not a rotation schedule. It's understandable why a rotation schedule would be difficult, but I think it would be a great idea to have minimum time requirements mods need to spend online each day, taking into consideration how busy they are irl.

Like, for example, Mod A would need to spend at least 4 hours a day online Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, between time xx:xx and xx:xx; Mod B would need to spend at least 10 hours online spread out between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, etc.

It would help make sure there's always a mod or two active and online who can respond to things that need immediate attention, like what happened with Mugi or the SMT, or urgent reports.

yeah true. I never saw what Mugi did, I only heard about it but I agree too.
It took waay too long for them to give a real punishment for it. Yet they'll give really long ass TO's for petty stuff.

yeah :/ when it's nighttime here, since I follow the Eastern time zone, there's barely any team members online.
And I had to remind a mod about an urgent problem that was just addressed a while ago in pm, but it was solved quickly in the end so it was alright :')

i saw it lmao like porn is natural and all that good stuff, but seeing as it goes against a rule, it should be punished further

Mods in different time zones is another really important idea! ALSO MODS LOGGING OUT! There are mods who's avis stay online even when they aren't actually there, because they don't log out. It makes things confusing.
