but also ....the reason behind them being in so many teams is cause theyre.  . good at it .s o its easier to add someone who already has proven themselves. so theres that. but i totally agree w giving unbadged people a chance !! and to prioritize them maybe a little bit yea !!

but at the same time (at least after being here for years now) - most of the hard working team members burnout after a while being in many teams

I am not really sure if I grasp the idea behind the teams but I managed to read the application article of the news team, in all honesty I would rather if people who are devoted, active and qualified for the job. The amount of badges shouldn't matter unless they show that they can't handle their duties.

yeah i know many of the people in multiple teams are good at their job, but right now i feel like some of their teams are inactive or lacking activity so that's why i'm questioning why apply for ET then?

this is also true !! but as long as you prioritize and organize your schedule, i think you can do good in a lot of teams at the same time. of course someone being on only one team will have more to give though !!

i don't mind ppl being in a lot of teams, what i do want is a stricter system that for example, uses a 3-strike method. if ppl are consistently inactive they should just be removed, not sit there for 3 months. add new members, and keep the team active.

i know social media team has a 3-strike rule, and i'm sure a lot of the teams have similar rules as well :--) it's just. things are not that black and white and stuff happen in real life that can affect your work on your team.

Already being on a team doesn't necessarily make you better at being in another team. Idk, but I have a feeling that users who already have a badge might automatically get judged as being better than others, which gives already badged users an advantage. Also, I just think it's better for the organisation and management to spread out the work among more people, so as to minimise stress and inefficiency.

but there's been some members inactive in NT now for a long time, are they gonna hide behind the new members or are they gonna start writing again when the new people get there?

well every team has that, but the key of being a good team is that it should not affect your workflow.
