would also be weird... like it would get extremely rare as it would be 1 in game which also wouldn't work?
we have tons of items like that??
Yep and it's already annoying and stupid ? And then with rejected items on top of that, it just wouldn't be a realistic outcome?

Like I totally get wanting to wear what you make, but realistically it wouldn't work with implementing stuff for creators like that...

I don't know how long a wait there usually is, but don't they give feedback on how to improve the items for acceptance? (I haven't made anything while the new system has been up)
"with implementing stuff for creators" what do you mean by that?

i'm not saying absolutely every rejected design has to be accepted but some designs get rejected for seemingly stylistic choices and it's up to DT discretion. if it's something small, whats the harm in me getting it for personal use?  what are the technical reasons it won't work or cannot be done because it not being available for the masses is just wanting accessibility but it shouldn't be an issue for an item that "needs improvement"

I uploaded designs at the end of november/start of december and they've just been decided on, but yes, they do give feedback.

Unfortunately nonD's have not been allowed to make their own body mods for a long time.

That's fair, would you be fine with me contacting you about it? I'm sorry if the feedback wasn't clear enough

the designers, as they do. What i said is if it's something small and stylistic, why can't the designer of the item have the choice of getting it for personal use, assuming they don't fix it.

I believe the uploader is already overflowing as is, so I think it'd end up taking even more of a toll on the servers..
Might not be an issue in the future

It would be a lot of unnecessary work for the team to decide which rejected designs to accept just because the designer wants them. If we shouldn’t accept literally every item/set, then we shouldn’t accept sets that would’ve otherwise been rejected

I just meant uploading only for the creators benefit, like you suggested uploading so the creator of said items could use it (idk if that made sense).

Even if it’s only meant for the creator, the platform still has to draw a clear line somewhere, otherwise it becomes really hard to stay consistent. If one person can get an item approved despite it “needing improvement,” then it’s difficult to explain why someone else with a similar design wouldn’t get the same exception.

im sorry that some people feel like their sets are being rejected for some sort of bias but it just   isnt and putting the blame on dt is not fair

learning how to design takes time and thats why items are being rejected - so you can get the feedback from someone more experienced and improve your own skill. accepting items just because their creator likes them will a) insanely clutter the already awful uploader designers have   b) increase workload for designers who will have to choose which rejected sets are to be accepted and which arent (also again its about dt members opinions so someone will be mad their items arent accepted after all when others are)  c) remove any incentive to improve, why would you bother if your item will be accepted after all?

in the most respectful way possible, people need to understand that this isnt personal and sometimes you just have to keep trying if youre interested in designing and having your sets released, its a skill that you need to practice

"but some designs get rejected for seemingly stylistic choices and it's up to DT discretion."

Idk, this does kinda sound like bias?
A bias doesn't have to be towards a person only, could also be towards style.

I'm not picking a side in this, just pointing out that I would read that sentence as bias and placing blame sorta?
Tbh I don't follow much of the convo, I'm just here because I got tagged
