if there's less people from ET getting the item then that doesn't ruin the point of them being special because there'll still be as many items in the game? Also if it's clear that just 1 person is hosting the competition and it's clear who that person is, then the other ET members would obviously be free to join the contest for a chance to win the outfit in a fair manner

the shitty part about that is people would assume favoritism from the team when the member won. like when we had member of the month, Eli got shit for winning and being on ET.

i think that's mostly something that ppl need to get used to and an ET winner will get shit for a while but then people understand the situation and it's ok. drama dies down in the end.

but if that were to change (which it should but never will) then they should just make like a clear competition-page-post to explain the new situation and why ET members can also join contests, then it'd be fine i think

i was just gonna ask, if MOTM still a thing?

A lot of ET members did which pisses me off because multiple people nominated her in the first place. Annnnd not to mention they voted for her.

The codes and time zone stuff are relevant because ET isn't doing stuff for ET but rather for the community, so taking time to consider when the best time to do something is should only be natural. Or maybe that's just how I think of it as a former ET member.

But honestly even I feel like ET actually benefit more from the competitions they do than the general community as only so many win an items while they automatically gets it. But I mean ET could just not be a thing and not do anything so even the little competitions and such is beneficially to the community as now there's really not any other ways of 'earning' cr aside from selling, wheel, and competitions.

and the whole "but we put effort in hosting the comps" is just bullcrap. Like literally it's just not true. There's what 10 ET members? There's no way that every member is involved in every competition. And if that IS true then ET's got bigger issues than I originally thought xD

I really think only the members who hosted the competition (which should just be 1 person a competition really) should get the prize.

no, they have the annual VP awards now and the winners get special sashes depending on the category they won.

It was also my favorite event at the time. (Or maybe it just makes me feel special because I was nominated a few times) but I was never the actual MOTM.

I mean sure the writing of the interview into a summary was kinda torturous, but I wouldn't have minded XD I would've been fine hosting the months that people weren't willing to host or the whole thing even. I really really liked it in any case.

well like i said there could still be codes, they should just be promoted in a different way as to pretend ur talking to possible new members rather than old members. u could still have LE codes (tho 20 is just dumb but that's only my personal opinion) and be like "if u make an account NOW" or something. Though i think it makes more sense for it to be available a limited amount of time than a limited amount of numbers. Like if it's only available for say 30mins or an hour then the item is still gonna be pretty exclusive.

and also back in the day when there were no item prizes for competitions, there'd be a monthly team item. So I guess SMT/YT team (also why the fuck are those 2 teams? YouTube is basically social media platform) could just get a monthly outfit or something?

That is actually a very good question lol. But YouTube is not basically a social media platform. YouTube is a social medium, full stop.

I think (certain) teams still get exclusive team sets? Which I actually hate more than members claiming LE codes before everyone else. Almost none of the items actually distinguish them as members of the team; they're just sets that happen to have been made available exclusively for literally two fucking people. Like no offense to Dani and Garbage but that is some garbage. Particularly when I remember someone asking if they could pay to have a set designed exclusively for them that nobody else in the game could wear and they said no. I don't remember who said no, but it was an authoritative no.

I would do it again, if people were interested. and other members were willing to host every other month. The prizes would need to be updated though. Plus Lianne provided the month manager lol.
