I get what you're saying, but a lot of the rules directly affect how FT runs and they didn't consult with us or anything before posting them. I think I'm allowed to feel pissed off about that.

yeah, it's obvious that the vp member base is a lot older than the 'intended' target age, so i feel like things such as swearing and sexual discussion ( tO AN EXTENT. nothing graphic ofc ) should be allowed ? especially since not everyone can or wants to be part of the MCS, since many people are in other record labels.

anyways, for me this is especially disheartening because i've put in quite a lot of my own money ( which, yes, is not necessarily a super great decision ) and i feel like my support --- as well as the continued financial support that many vp users put into this site --- has earned us at least some voice in the rule-making process. i'm both emotionally and financially invested in this site, and i disagree very strongly with the authoritarian way these new rules have been forced upon us without any prior consultation.

i feel like a lot of concern over the moderation of the site was that our current rules weren't being unilaterally enforced --- not that we wanted more or stricter rules. i also feel like this was sufficiently communicated by most of the vp member base, and it's clear that many of us are unhappy with the sudden and largely undesired changes.
