Because idiots spend credits trying to get the stupid outfits and maybe a laptop. Cheating doesn't affect administrators; they're still making money off it so they don't care what we want

Well it's not really cheating is it (spending credits), even though it's kind of a cheap tactic from both sides. Of course they want to make money but they could at least try to make a system that allows people to compete with their current avatars

Who said spending credits was cheating? The contest page specifically encouraged it. It also plainly stated that the normal rules were still in effect, which would naturally include spamming and violating the terms of use. Spam, even when confined to a record label, is spam. Especially when the record label is created specifically for the purpose of violating a posted rule (spamming).

Violating the terms you agreed to in order to further your placement in a contest is cheating.
But not if administration allows it, I guess. Then it just means no one's accountable so the rules don't mean anything and you can pretty much do whatever you want without consequence beyond a flimsy fucking warning lol.
Administration is trying to make their money back. They don't care about our experience.

Anyway, have fun in the contest. Remember, you have to cheat to compete! And that's always fun for everyone, isn't it?

Ah no sorry, must have misunderstood. Spam is, of course, cheating, as it is against the rules. Even if people looks away from that rule.
