this was my experience exactly when I joined here this summer. I was being sold something and received a platform that has gone much beyond and morphed into something else than what it clearly started out as.  No matter, changes needs to be done, and for once, I nearly would say that it needs and update for new users because yeah it has moved on from being a kids game.

the european timezone doesn't necessarily help with the issue as for example i'm from finland, but cause i have life outside vp as well, i go to uni and spend freetime as well

That's kind of a teen/young adult thing tho. Like. Any place you go.

I knew this girl who was in to hair, and her main forum was a "hair tops and tricks" forum. And that was also 90% mental health stuff.

It's just something that will always be part of communities with a lot of teen/young adults. (unless it's a game where you don't have the time to write about stuff. But this is a forum so... you do. )

True true, it also took them like 4-5 years, but yeah. 
well idk i only really joined like two months ago or so, so i can't really talk about that. but just focusing on the bad things isn't good. something will be done, something will change, even if it took years and that should be the main focus and not what not happened a long time
