Or just a unisex shop ^^
See thats something
No need to force the already-made items into being for all genders
But a shop MADE for unisex items, see thats something I could agree to
I feel like your missing the point or just ignoring me when I say that the items cannot be unisex if they were designed on a male avatar, the bases don't match in height or width. The legs are in different places as well as the hands.

No one is forcing anything.
Well there certainly could be separate skins only available in that shop that would fix the height problem XD (since items are coded for certain pixels high)

But I'd love to see the shops merged and gender specific accounts gone.
So instead of being stuck to one set of skins, you can just buy male skins or female skins from the shops and wear them as you please because some of the female clothes are big enough for the male avis to wear but besides that I feel like that would boost the amount of male designs happening since then female designers could wear their male designs easier than having to making a side male account to collect them.
Would be quite fun, but idk I just prefer personally the specific genders since you can have two different characters too :p Wouldn't mind this though.

So youre bascially arguing against your own idea or what?

No, cause I didn't suggest male avatars and female avatars wear each others clothing, it was mentioned but it wasn't the point. The point was to just have all the items in one shop, remove the filter for accounts and just have the skins interchangeable so if you wanted to dress up as a male one day you could and the next a female. Not wear each others clothes, just go to the shop and buy the skin and the clothes that fit it instead nod making a new account or losing your entire wardrobe to change your account to a male one so you can keep your fans

The incentive portion for designers to make more male items because they'll be able wear them was to have them were them on male skins on their main account.

Because my designs arent meant for girls and I wouldnt want them to wear it on their female dolls

And the guys can't wear the girls clothes (accessories maybe but not clothes) - maybe cept some select few, compared to how much the girls can wear of the guys items and tbh I dont think thats fair, nor do I think that  the guys wardrobes would expand enough to make worth it
Generally if your jackets or shirts aren't oversized and fit the avatars arms then it won't be problem, same thing with the legs. That avatars different in size and shape. Not all clothes will fit the other avatars.
My point also wasn't to have the males wardrobes expand with female items, it was to eradicate the gender line. The way it would help the 'male' community would be by giving the other designers who make primarily female outfits a push to make male designs more often because then they can expect them uploaded more often, used more often and have easy access to them from their main account instead of a side account so they can enjoy them and show them off on their main account - and if they choose to make some items more unisex and to fit both skins then that's what they want to do, you don't have to, you can continue to make gender specific outfits that can only be worn by male avatars.
I understand your point but I don't think you understand the hours of labor required for that to work. Our entire avatar system would habe to be redesigned. Administration would rather let their users spam the site for a stupid laptop than put any investment into the quality of the service. I'm sure as fuck not going to do the work you're talking about for free.

No decent artist is going to wade through over 10,000 items and convert them for alternate avatar shapes without pay. It's a nice idea--for the wrong site. It's not going to happen with this administration and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As far as a unisex shop--a third gender? Administration might go for it if you set up the avatars and enough outfits to fill out a good page of the shop, since they'd barely have to do any work, bUT it would come with all of the scarcity issues male avatars already have. At that point you're not talking about promoting male avatars, you're just asking for a third avatar so you don't have to choose one or the other. This thread is about the existing male avatar, so that's actually not helpful.

Again, it's not a bad idea, I just don't think it's feasible with the system we're working with.

@OP I will not be participating in friday's contest. I like the hair but I'm not wasting 30 hours of my life competing with a bunch of spamming girls just to get the one item I like. I hate that contest. Hopefully no males do bother to compete and the outfit will be released for something less shit.
Edit: the point of my saying so is that the official contests are not even close to worth our time when we have to compete with the girls. As long as this is the policy, male participation's gonna be negligible.

Do you mean a system like on IMVU?
Idk if you ever played that but for the ones who havent; You can buy a male avatar and a female avatar, as many as you want, and you can change between them as you like and wear the clothes made to fit those genders (accessories n such could be worn by both in most cases)

Oh and there are some unused designs for males. Mijeom for example uploaded 2 sets, two months ago, and they aren't used yet. I don't get why Miranda doesn't put them in our shop.
I just looked through male uploaded items and none of Inhyeongs outfits that has been uploaded is unused
Just because theyre uploaded on another server doesnt mean we have them here, Miranda needs to transfer them to this server first

We have 4 unused males sets as far as I can see, 3 being from Jess and 1 from Obsession/Temple
it isn't used on de server either

The placement of a lot of unisex items makes them unwearable due to the different shapes of the avatars--exactly like on this site but in 3D. If you buy an item for one avatar there's no guarantee it will fit properly with any items it wasn't specifically designed for. IMVU's organization & quality control aren't much better than VP's.

This would probably turn out messy and confusing but maybe a unisex fashion shop with designs that would fit all avatars? Backgrounds, hats, some hairstyles, certain jackets etc.

Also being able to change between a male and female wardrobe would be nice, with the model type changing with it.

That would be so awsome! because it's really exhausting to have 2 accounts...and there are pretty cool clothes for females that I'd like for my male account

And more updates, like when I had a girl avatar I used to have like 3 updates each week and now there are even weeks with no updates.

my bestfriend made me this account today and she was saying ohh its cool there's lots of cool people and cool clothes  that was a lie but she wouldn't have known how much less of an option male players have then female. But I think I more guys clothing options would be awesome  and more codes for guys not just for the girls. this game is kinda sexists
