why can't this be a simple discussion? 

for me personally, I take the subject at college and looked into taking this at Uni (it's why I'm kicking myself for not working the code out sooner) but I just find syntax really interesting - it's why I commented. it's not an attack in any way.

I definitely didn't mean this thread as an attack. I was just trying to understand because the code made zero sense to me.
