This is my summary:
The mods needs to adress things more quickly. And maybe more openly.
(( Opinion: People don't know what goes on behind the scenes. And people (like me) don't like to be kept in the dark confused about things. This also just makes people speculate and starts rumors. Like, Did you hear blablaba? It was bc of blablbala!! Makes this site feel unsafe. So it's really not good. ))
The people demand "higher quality mods".
(( Opinion: that would require some sort of education like a real profession. Since this is a free job I don't think you can expect that. You need to consider what this role/job actually is. Ofc you won't be able to break rules while someone else gets away with it bc they didn't see it or maybe didn't interpret it the same. Ofc that isn't going to be fun. But don't make a thread about it if you can contact them one on one instead. That's just continuing to breaking the rules, forums usually don't allow people to make threads on why they were warned or t/o'd. (there's a reason for that: drama) And don't hold them to a higher standard than yourself. They are in fact not trained for years or even paid. ))
Kim needs to be more available.
(( Opinion: sorry kim but you simply need to be more active. Or hire someone to actually be that active. (Easy to say right...)
You are the mods mod. You need to be available if people feel like the mods are abusing their powers.
Now.... we kind of recently got Jess tho. So maybe this will make things better. Remember this mess is old, from when we didn't really have a active Admin right? If I understand things correctly. And we did get this thread and an explanation so I feel like that's a improvement tbf. ))
And lastly. The mods involved needs to apologize for letting this develop like this. Like in a news article. So everyone can see. Never mind the "she said he said" part of the story. Since I honestly don't think we can solve that. We need to move on.
That's my conclusion XD
