Mostly the same but more content boxes will fit the screen, it's responsive / adaptive layout so you can just squeeze the window on pc and it will "turn" into mobile design

mhm okay, that sounds cool & convenient

im gonna write down my initial thoughts on the design, it's going to be feedback heavy 
not trying to be mean at all, just writing down what i think about it

the design of it feels very 'practical' 
i think i personally dislike the top of the site as it is in the preview, it feels a little bland/uninspired for a site that is supposed to be about performing as a popstar and dressing up 
the messages and notifications buttons feel quite big for what they're for? removing the words feels more logical to me, maybe only have them when hovering over the buttons?
i personally will miss the way the recently replied to threads will look like, assuming they will be moved to notifications
the slideshow box above the threads feels big to me, im not sure i like that its above the threads? i feel like threads should be the main focus of the site - the way it looks now (with them next to each other) feels like it showcases what the site is like better
not a fan of removing the popstar/avi/model from the shouts, i understand it's less cluttered but once again it feels like your removing the essence of the site and it makes the site look generic (perhaps a headshot from the user instead of the full outfit?) 
i like the look of the bar that the buttons are in at the bottom and how one button pops up when you're on that page, but i also don't really like the buttons themselves  they feel generic again imo

idk maybe this is just a difference in style preference but i feel like making the site look like it could be a microsoft application removes the vp charm 
this is a game about fashion and clothes and popstars, not a teams channel

About the top - We don't even have the logo yet , it's just a placeholder text. Icons and overall colors are in the most early state rn

Message & notification text - absolutely yes, why didn't I think about it haha

Recent replies - yeah it's pretty hard to fit everything in there, currently this box is just further down

I didn't really think about slideshow yet, so uhh no comments here. Also we'll play with box ordering later

Looks on shouts - I'll try to fit it somehow if we decide on it

Stuff about page focus is absolutely valid, we didn't have any ux tests yet soo it's still pretty rough, good thing is that it's easy to reorder stuff
(can't say the same about current vp design, I wanted to add some token related box on the home page earlier this year and realized I'd have to basically redo the whole page)

i mean i personally dont see a point of a giant logo that lets you know its virtualpopstar.com on virtualpopstar.com, one small icon in the corner tho? that would work
logo is sharing the space with shout box but its also   bigger  than the shout box (or appears so at least).. again making you focus on things less important than the point of the site (community, communication etc)

whos gonna work on the logo? will it be someone from core team (or just vp in general) or will u hire someone with experience in graphic design?
