logo is sharing the space with shout box but its also   bigger  than the shout box (or appears so at least).. again making you focus on things less important than the point of the site (community, communication etc)

whos gonna work on the logo? will it be someone from core team (or just vp in general) or will u hire someone with experience in graphic design? 
this is an excellent question, and a bridge that we have not yet gotten to
as the winner of the last vp logo comp, I'd be so down for logo comp part 2 if there was one 😂

Absolutely, some things like eventual wardrobe revamp or hypothetical messages rework are at the very least much harder to do in current design, and it's impossible to adapt it for mobile without rewriting everything anyway

Also, it's not only the visual redesign, there's a lot of changes in the whole VP architecture to make VP into a modern web app. Everything (like hot topics on home page or user's online/offline indicators) is updating in realtime, + there's already a couple of nice features like clothing tooltip cache (and pages load faster)
