also one thing; i dont think someone who speaks another language for like  a few posts should get a t/o. this is an international page. the dutch and german server dont have this problem because they ccan do their mother tongue on those servers. they should be punished for more or less speaking english then. there are more people on this site who understands norwegian and it sucks having to stick to a record label to do that.

i understand that it should MAINLY be english because of the fact that it is international, but i also think the rule of speaking another language shouldnt be to uptight.
I have never seen that mods take that rule so seriously tho. Like once a bunch of swedes started taking over a thread and speaking in swedish and "fighting" with the danes. One person got mad at us and called a mod but the mod just laughed it off because we only did it for a few posts
i know, i havent had it happen to me, but ive heard about so many getting t/o's for something smaller than that time.

as a Native, I can see why you'd be upset at not being able to speak your own language.

I think the rule should only really be implemented when it's threads like team events/discussions etc. as those are forums when everyone gets involved. Especially discussions/debates as when arguments start, if someone starts talking in a different language it's a little upsetting to not know if people are talking about you/laughing.

Not saying this is what should be done - it's more just offering an opinion (I really don't mean to offend people with this).

Punish mods for breaking forum rules.

I've seen mods break forum rules other people get warnings and TOs for and it is not fair in the slightest that they don't get equal punishments.

I do think being biased is an issue. The team is more of a clique than ever. Which its good to be friends but when it comes to taking feedback, it becomes an echo chamber of well that is their problem type thing.

So it was mentioned in a different thread by Hypoxic(? i think) that mods don't know each other's schedules because theres not a rotation schedule. It's understandable why a rotation schedule would be difficult, but I think it would be a great idea to have minimum time requirements mods need to spend online each day, taking into consideration how busy they are irl.

Like, for example, Mod A would need to spend at least 4 hours a day online Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, between time xx:xx and xx:xx; Mod B would need to spend at least 10 hours online spread out between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, etc.

It would help make sure there's always a mod or two active and online who can respond to things that need immediate attention, like what happened with Mugi or the SMT, or urgent reports.
yeah :/ when it's nighttime here, since I follow the Eastern time zone, there's barely any team members online.
And I had to remind a mod about an urgent problem that was just addressed a while ago in pm, but it was solved quickly in the end so it was alright :')
aaaa h they should hire more mods with more varied time zones so everyone, regardless of their time zones, are able to get help
yeah X,D the only person i know following a similar time zone is Bailey (NT) and maybe cammye, but that's about it :/ there's like less than 100 ppl once the time comes but it can still get as weird :/ and then everyone wakes up when i fall asleep :') yay...

I remember that forum. I think it was during the LE Weekend or something.
I was so confused as it went from clothes to swedish haha - but I didn't see a problem. Especially as it was late at night and it's easy to give up speaking a foreign language when you're tired

Whenever I have used swedish a mod either didn't really care or just wrote in the thread to not speak another language other than english.
I think that rule is more chill here than on gsm because there i got a warning for writing "hello" in korean, without any one of them even talking to me about it first
