or I mean, white washing can apply to humans to (*cough* kpop singers *cough*) but I feel like it's mainly just roles in ex. where white people play non white characters

I can't draw dark skins, wish I could since I find it extremly gorgeous. But I'd never make the skin light on a known character.

but a thing that personally annoys me a lot @ VP hobby designers is when they make a black skin, but just take an old white skin they made and turn down the brightness or lumination, instead of actually designing a dark skin.

well i think its ok as long as you use it as a way to learn how to shade, i had trouble shading darker skin so i made a reference and took reference photos but if theres white facial features im kinda like

yeah that was tbh the thing I wanted to say
that they dont do it to offend but it just happenes but its still a bad thing
