Yep that's me, we're usually posting updates in this thread. The progress is pretty slow rn (hard to remake the foundation of a >12 year old website, + it's generally very busy time of year for me), it should be much faster once we drop the first parts of the redesign update

Well it better be because I think it's not that much work for the first update

But then I got a dog and everything became better. Sure I have up and downs like anyone but it's more stable over-all. I wasted 2 years on working with a programmer after the ES mess trying to make a game but it never went anywhere. (he always wanted to switch ideas and then blamed me for not getting anywhere XD )
But then after I finally got fed up with him I got looking for a new team. And it was hard but I eventually found two guys who are amazing. We've been building my game slowly. Very slowly XD but I can't complain. Not many good programmers want to jump on a project where all you can give is half of the ownership but no money up front. It's a big ask. So I'm happy!

We're using outdated php on the server side, it's alright (there are some features I miss from newer versions and have to find what's not supported here if update crashes the page, but it's not enough for me to bother with updating it. + it's kinda scary to mess with that, who knows how many pages will straight up stop working bc of deprecated functions)

Frontend is going to use the new framework, I chose Mithril js., It's pretty exotic choice, main reason is that I don't have to install it on the server like React, but otherwise they're pretty similar

i mean yeah, more people equals more perspectives/mindsets that can clash... since humans are individuals, there will always be people who disagree with each other. we allow people to express different opinions here so long as there remains a relative calm to it from both sides of the conversation.

i mean, your MO is posting contradictory, provocative opinions that people disagree with. the possibilities i see are that you either post anti-humanist opinions to get a rise out of people, or you truly hold anti-humanist opinions, and im not sure which is worse. you have yet to be banned or muted for posting any of these things and as such clearly have a right and ability to air them, but i think your expectation of people to abet or even tolerate stances that are strongly against what they believe is foolish at best

its really quite beautiful that like, ive always found you get what you put into this website. its such a strong community of people who really hold true to themselves and find the people theyre meant to find and repel from those they arent. i love that its a sentiment that held true from even before i joined, really pleased to hear you say that!!!

no no this is true!! there's been an influx in searching ad0xa items! most recent items on my wl are from yours too because i just hadn't seen them before bc i wasnt as active in vps early days, but now that i see them i love them haha : P

But I also would feel bad if it takes time off from my own project. Kinda wanna draw as much as I can for that... but if I were to become active again I doubt I would be able to keep myself from designing XD

Also what is the clothing manager uploader thing about? I just looked at it quickly and concluded that is has something to do with your uploaded design obvs. But can anyone send in design any time or do you need to be a designer?

thiss i went to gsm 2.0 too and hung around for a couple of years until i got tired and came back here now, it’s so toxic the rules are ass people are just so miserable there

awww thank you! Always fun to hear your stuff being liked. I think when I was active a lot of my stuff was very cheap bc I kept assigning them to be voucher XD bc my opinion was always that I'd rather many people can get access to my stuff than having it be "rare" or "valuable". Kinda funny that it's become sought after now again then!
