what do you mean by "online art"?
the first thing i thought of was like, the new trend of rehashing source material into different forms, such as the creation of gif sets using footage from tv/film/anime, and the proliferation of this idea of "aesthetic" that's become mainstream—  sets of images that create a certain emotion, or specific kind of beauty.

that, and i also thought about, web art. like, going onto neocities and finding websites clearly made to be more of an art project than anything else.

tangent: back when i used the internet prolifically, people splashed all kinds of brushes and nonsense onto EVERY SINGLE GRAPHIC they made. now everyone's into minimalism, which i love way more than the tacky shit people used to do.

but anyway, if you're going that route, that'd be really cool! i've kind of wanted to write a personal essay or something about it, or check out online blogs, scholarly articles or whatever if any exist on the topic. i'm a huge HUGE fan of web art.

edit: oh man and also this fading notion of "ownership" over the internet should totally be a thing to talk about too. i think that'd make for a really interesting and well-thought out article! it's so hard to claim ownership over something nowadays because it's so easy to steal, and many people who do aren't even aware of copyright laws. which i think is a huge deal.

no, it's just an art magazine, but then online (not in print), and viewable for free!
but your ideas/interpretation is great too, although i'd prefer to call that digital/modern art, or just minimalistic art. if you'd like to write an essay about it, i'd be happy to read it! i might put such art forms in the next issue.

ohhhhh, i see what you mean. not online art magazine, but online art magazine. oops, my bad. still though, i'd love to see what you come up with, since art is still definitely one of my interests! the cover looks great!
