yeah i suspected it wasnt as easy simply adding more colours, but since decode seems more competent than the last person it might be an idea still :3
it rly is nice to get updates

I'm colourblind, so that probably explains it!

I've asked my friend who is a graphic designer to make some palettes that might suit the site better. If Design Team members want to make a graphic that has a sample of the colour AND the hexcode in the image, I can add as many colours as people desire. If you all can agree on some nice colours in the DT Discord server, an admin can send it my way. I'd like for them to be more cohesive with your lovely designs!

People have asked if a colour wheel/hex code entry could be allowed but I have to change the code is 7 different places currently to add in every new colour, and adding that feature would require a major overhaul of that system. So it is on the horizon, but definitely not a priority. I have a different update that will go live today...

Here is what I mean in terms of a graphic that I could use. Naming the colours would also be helpful since how I perceive them will be different than how you all will see them, but it is not necessary.

oh wow! good job considering then! i think you sorta got the right idea picking brigther/darker colours cause that's what we were lacking! they just need some adjusting!

I'll send this to DT and see if we can agree on some colours and compile them for you! We could probably do the same with profile backgrounds (and put both color names used in the gradient)! Though as just a quick note on what would be cool to see for profile backgrounds, is pastels and some more muted colours, since we currently only have bright options for profile.
something in the vein of these, perhaps! but like i said ill bring it to dt as well!
