But I don't think people know me enough to trust me for the position... and also I don't know how active one needs to be in order to be a mod (but I assume that you'd have to be active nearly constantly right??? Is this question solely hypothetical? are new mods being chosen through the community? I know the whole scenario is really messy and confusing right now but I just genuinely hope that it can get sorted out soon and that whoever the mods are will be people who are both patient and also much more attentive to explicit rule breaking, especially when it comes to repeat actions of explicit and violent discrimination, as that's something I've noticed many mods have let slide but which has caused many really disgusting fights and violent slurs to slide by unaddressed in any way.

As much as I'd like to still be able to grant you the power to be mod regardless of any tendency of yours to get petty, I totally get what you mean about how being mod really requires calm objectivity haha. Actually, a lot of people I really look up to in terms of their opinions and morality (like you tbh ;u; ) might hate being a mod mostly because it strips the freedom of being able to attack any grossness with arguments or anger of any kind (other than t/o's or bans.. and then that'd just be a direct abuse of power so that'd be no good lol).

I guess it's good that I have a hard time fighting people or picking up arguments with trolls or hurtful people... so I guess maybe in that sense I'd also be alright as a mod?
But yeah doubt that'd ever happen because I'm not on vp all the time and I doubt people would want me since not too many people know me well so they may not trust my judgement... and come to think of it, those who DO know me might not trust my judgement either (although I would like to think they would LOL >< )

I guess I just hope that whoever it is has a good moral compass and can actually stand up to and tell off users who are violently breaking the discrimination rules as well as any other rules.

I feel like discussions about mods all started firing up again so quickly... but I also have heard that there have been major neglects or abuses of power in the past even before recently... so maybe it isn't anything new?

But if I had to censor titties I'd only ever be able to censor them with something even more great... like several more titties covering the whole image so it's just a giant collage of boobs.... or kittens.

idk someone told me we could be getting new mods (from this server) and that it would be the users that chose them. idk if they're gonna kick anyone out?? or if someone left? and uh the two mods from dutch server are just temporary, they're gonna get things in order here and then probably leave

mods have always been ridiculed i think kim just finally decided to do something about it
they aren't permanent but they're supposed to help the new mods and are reviewing how they do things i guess? (though i haven't seen them a lot so idk). i heard they were only supposed ot be on for 2 weeks but i think it's been 2 weeks hasn't it. this vp hacker thing has been trouble too so i'm sure that messed up things

i'm curious about the admin position. last time it was a mod that became admin and it was revealed like the day after eli resigned but with all this mod stuff happening idk what's going on

ahhhh i'm not sure how i'll feel if new mods are picked by the users. it'd be just a giant popularity contest then. but at the same time it would stop people from complaining
