However, this designer made the Hitler one so I would delete the item.

Cause this temple is totally designed to honour Nazi's.
I am aware that it's not the case, however, it is the exact same symbol as the on the NSDAP used so it could offend people.

from experience

regardless of what it originally meant or the artist's intentions, 1. she could have easily have drawn it in one of the several other ways shown here so that people wouldn't go "hey a european user drew swastikas on hands!!!" and 2. users are going to take the hands and use them to make inappropriate avatars eventually

Ugh I wanna hit my head to the wall, yall just dont wanna understand its actually an important symbol for many Hindus. Yeah go ahead and delete the item but to me thats actually the most disrespectful thing you could do. you're basically associating it with Nazism when it represents something else
I think it's rather hard not to associate it with Nazi Germany? Even though this symbol has been around for a long time, Hitler used it as his symbol in a world in which the Swastika was not that well known.

Honestly, I haven't.  But that must be because I educate myself in religions and cultures try doing the same it wont hurt.
Excuse me? I don't know whatthe fuck your problem is but don't tell me I don't educate myself in religions and cultures.

Me again

I just wanna say this item makes me feel extremely uncomfortable because of the symbol
See im german and i was taught its a very bad symbol and ive seen people being punished for drawing it so ofc it makes me uncomfortabld

Sorry if i started drama and offended other people
Its not my or others fault here that the symbol was used for a bad cause and that most of us associate it imediately

my problem is the fact that youre being disrespectful and telling people to delete it
i mean.... i'm planning to delete mine. you can respect hinduism without wanting a swastika in your wardrobe — it has different meanings for different people depending o their cultural upbringing

It's not even only Hindu though, they even used it in early Christian Rome and Greece, ancient floors in the Roman empire and it was even used by medieval Norwegian vikings! (:

same, i don't believe in a particular religion and i don't believe in any types of gods whatsoever.
but i research religion.
there are certain concepts within religions which i believe in.
like reincarnation from the hinduism religion.
thats just one example, my beliefs are concepts from many religions.

lack of research creates ignorance like this thread.

I'm not telling anyone to delete it, I'm saying that I would delete it. I don't see how that is disrespectful.

tbh sell it or give it away.
its not that hard.
give it to me even i'll keep it for someone who wants it.
i find that pretty insulting to the culture.
